Two years back, I went to Coimbator. Where my friend took me to Perur Temple (It was one of the beautiful and peaceful temple, I ever visited) and to Maruthamalai Temple. After returning back to my home town (Chennai), my grandpa questioned whether I visited the Siddhar’s shrine near Maruthamalai and told that he thinks its Sri Bhoganathar’s shrine. I was very much upset to miss a Siddhar’s shrine that to Sri. Bhoganathar’s shrine. (I have an attraction towards Sri. Bhoganathar and doesn’t know why especially on him) I felt that I may not be eligible to step inside the Siddhar’s shrine or he didn’t want me to step in.
Then I found that the shrine is not Sri. Bhoganathar’s and its Sri. Pambatti Siddhar’s Shrine and found that Sri. Bhoganathar’s shrine is in Palani hill. But still I felt unhappy about missing an opportunity.
On 1st of Jan. this year, I was returning from a trip to Chennai via Palani. I was very eager to step inside the great Siddhar’s Shrine. But unfortunately we are in short of time and my friends rushed me, I don’t know how I convinced them, I got permission for 2 hours in between the travel.
I prayed Sri Bhoganathar to help me to step inside his shrine and I promised that I will not sit in Palani till I step inside the shrine.
I and my friend ran towards the top of the hill. I chanted his name for every step I proceed. At a stretch we climbed ¾ of the hill and we both exhausted and we stopped, my friend sat on a step for relaxing. But I don’t want to give up my promise and was standing and relaxing. Then we managed to climb to the top and I was totally exhausted. Seeing the crowd of devotees and very long queue I last my confident of getting in the shrine. But I chanted his name continuously to let me step inside his shrine.
My friend was familiar with that temple. He told that there is only one way get in is through gate of the temple. We ran to the out gate, but disappointed seeing two guards guarding the out gate and not allowing devotees through it. I chanted his name continuously to let me in, to a great surprise the two guards moved apart leaving a gap, my friend pulled me inside the temple, it was like a magic to feel we are inside the temple though we violated the rules. There was a huge queue to shrine due to the New Year, we joined the queue. As soon as we went inside shrine, my friend found a small gap in a corner and asked me to sit and meditate. I felt a different vibration around me; it’s a very new experience to me and I felt a pulsating energy flowing towards me ( I am unable to built words to explain my experience I felt there, very sorry) while I meditate. (Sri. Bhoganathar fulfilled my promise of not sitting in Palani till I step inside the shrine and he made me to sit inside his shrine itself). Then we joined the queue and stepped inside the cave where Sri. Bhoganathar worshipped Maragatha (Emerald) Lingam and Bhuvaneswari idol where the queue is moving very fast. Suddenly a guard brought some girls from the other end and blocked the path when I was standing in front of the Maragatha Lingam and I was locked in between for about 5 minutes. It was really a great experience given by the great Siddha Sri. Bhoganathar.
I was amazed, if a small prayer can do a magic, what a dedicate prayer can do? a miracle?
Dedicated to the beloved Siddha Sri. Bhoganathar.
